Day-by-Day Itinerary

After breakfast and a little shopping in Arusha, we head to Tarangire for game drives with a picnic lunch. The park hosts up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras, alongside lions, leopards and cheetahs. Overnight at Kizumba Camp.

Departing after breakfast through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we enter the Serengeti's endless plains. The Seronera area offers some of the richest wildlife habitats - lions, zebras, antelopes and buffalo. An afternoon game drive precedes an overnight at Seronera Campsite.

An early-morning game drive looks for lions, giraffes and cheetahs as the central Serengeti grasslands meet scattered woodlands home to impala and topis. Overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

A full day in the crater reveals black rhinos, hippos, lions, hyena and zebras - the highest concentration of animals in a small area anywhere in Africa. Overnight at Kizumba Camp.

We travel to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, hippos and rich birdlife, before returning to Arusha where the journey concludes.
